PhD success – Congratulations Dr. Joss Moorkens!

Congratulations to Dr. Joss Moorkens on the successful completion of his PhD viva yesterday morning.

Joss’s PhD thesis was entitled: ‘Measuring Consistency in Translation Memories: A Mixed-Methods Case Study’.
The external examiner was Dr. Lynne Bowker from the University of Ottawa, the internal examiner was Dr. Ryoko Sasamoto, SALIS, and the viva was chaired by Dr. Gareth Jones, from the School of Computing, DCU.

Joss was co-supervised by Dorothy Kenny, Sharon O’Brien and Reinhard Schaeler (University of Limerick) and he was funded by SFI through the Centre for Next Generation Localisation.
