DCU’s SALIS, CTTS and ADAPT were strongly represented at the 6th IATIS Conference (International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies), hosted by the Hong Kong Baptist University from July 03-06, 2018. Dr Joss Moorkens and Dr Sheila Castilho were co-organisers, along with others, of the panel on “Translation Quality Assessment: From Principles to Practice”, while Dr Sharon O’Brien co-organised a panel, with Dr Federico Federici (UCL) on Crisis Communication and Translation.
