Sagun Shrestha, a CTTS PhD student in the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies (SALIS) recently had a number of scholarly articles published in one of Nepal’s popular national broadsheet newspapers ‘The Kathmandu Post’ (November and December 2018 and January 2019). His three articles can be accessed here: ‘ICT in Education’, ‘More Homework Needed’ and ‘Learning Unleashed’ (co-authored with Suman Laudari). They deal in particular with issues and concerns related to Information, Communications and Technology in Education. They broadly suggest the need to address concerns such as ‘digital competencies’, ‘teacher development programmes’ and Nepalese ICT in education plans, policies and programmes.
