Biography
Dr Patrick (Pat) Cadwell is an Assistant Professor of Translation Studies at the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies. He teaches classes in translation theory, terminology, and Japanese-English economic and scientific translation. His research interests include translation in crisis and development settings, the sociology of translation, and the human experience of translation technology. He is a member of INTERACT, the International Network on Crisis Translation. He previously worked as a translator in the JA>EN language pair.
